Frustrated Suicide

Lina Bentiroso was desperate. She wanted to end her life, which she felt, had become so miserable because of the cruelty and oppression she had been experiencing at the hands of an Arabian woman – her employer. She could not bear anymore the physical abuse being inflicted on her. With a knife she poked at her chest, she was ready to commit suicide. The local police contacted the Philippine Embassy. In the wee hour of that morning, to her surprise, Ambassador Señeres personally came to prevail upon her not to kill herself and assured her that everything would be alright.

Our OFWs are heroes in the real sense of  the word , and they deserve to be attended to by our government , especially the Philippines embassies all over the world.
